우리는 하나의 지구에서 함께 살아가야 할 '운명 공동체'입니다. 그동안 우리는 수많은 갈등과 위기 속에서도, 결국 함께 살아가야만 하는 존재들임을 믿고 그 공존의 원칙을 지키기 위해 끊임없이 노력해 왔습니다.

그러나 지금, 우리는 심각한 위기에 직면해 있습니다.

도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령과 그 행정부가 보여주는 자국 이기주의와 독단적인 행보는 현 인류와 우리 미래에 대한 가장 거대한 위협입니다. 그들은 자신들만의 알 수 없는 목표를 위해 언제든 전쟁을 치를 수 있는 태도를 보이며, 그 과정에서 지구에 대한 그 어떠한 책임감도 찾아볼 수 없습니다.

이러한 폭주 속에서 지속 가능한 미래를 위한 인류의 고민과 노력은 조롱거리로 전락했습니다. 인권, 종교적 자유, 평등과 같이 우리 인류가 피 흘려 쟁취하고 추구해 온 고귀한 가치들은 철저히 외면당하고 있습니다.

아무리 강대국 미국이라 할지라도, 전 지구적 재앙을 초래하도록 방관할 수는 없습니다. 이에 우리 세계 시민들은 단호하고 분명한 경고를 보내야 하며, 이 묵직한 메시지를 역사의 기록으로 남겨야 합니다.

• 지구촌 각국 정부의 결단: 전 세계 각국 정부는 미국의 독단적 행보에 침묵하지 말고, 공식적인 규탄과 견제에 나서 주십시오.

• 국제적 연대 강화: 분열을 조장하는 패권주의에 맞서, 국제법과 다자주의 질서를 수호하기 위한 정부 간 연대를 즉각 구성해 주십시오.

세계 시민 여러분, 우리는 인류입니다.

Citizens of the World,

We are a 'community of shared destiny,' bound together on this single planet. Throughout history, despite countless conflicts and crises, we have continually strived to uphold the principles of coexistence, believing that we are, ultimately, beings who must live together.

Today, however, we face a profound crisis.

The extreme nationalism and unilateral actions of U.S. President Donald Trump and his administration pose the most massive threat to humanity today and to our future. They demonstrate a willingness to wage war at any time for their own obscure goals, showing an absolute lack of responsibility for the Earth in the process.

Amidst this reckless behavior, humanity's concerns and efforts for a sustainable future have been reduced to a mockery. The noble values we have bled to achieve and pursue—such as human rights, religious freedom, and equality—are being thoroughly disregarded.

No matter how powerful the United States may be, we cannot stand by and allow it to trigger a global catastrophe. Therefore, we, the global citizens, must issue a firm and clear warning, and we must leave this weighty message as a record in history.

• Decisive Action from Global Governments: We urge governments worldwide not to remain silent, but to step forward with official condemnation and checks against the unilateral actions of the U.S. administration.

• Strengthen International Solidarity: In the face of hegemony that fosters division, we demand the immediate formation of an intergovernmental coalition to defend international law and the multilateral order.

Citizens of the world, we are humanity.

Even in a world where barbarism seems to prevail, it is time for the small voices calling out for hope and aspiration to unite. Moving beyond division and resignation, it is time for the entire world to stand firmly together, to speak of humanity once again, and to move toward the hope of tomorrow.
